  2. 1. Yes, I do think that in some areas the bullying problem is severe enough to dedicate government resources to its elimination. Suicides and school shootings as results of bullying should be stopped somehow.

    2. I think this website could be very effective, especially with younger childeren.

    3. If I was a teacher or parent I would talk to my students or children about bullying and address the things talked about on the website, and have them explore, play games, watch videos, etc.

  3. 1. Yes, in some areas I do believe that bullying is something that the government should be involved with because no body deserves to be bullied. And sometimes when kids are bullied they believe it is their fault and they try to stop it by doing something in their hands that is drastic.
    2. I think that website shows alot to younger kids. And it shows that if poeple are sayin things to you that it is bullying so kids do know whats going on. And also, the types of bullying that is going on that children could be involved in.
    3. If i was a teahcer or a parent i would DEFFINETLY talk to my children about bullying. I would show them the games videos and everything that was on this website, so they could see it and talk to them about it.

  4. 1. Do you think that the bullying problem is severe enough to dedicate government resources to its eliminnation?

Yes, there are many students that get bullied at school and out of school. Bullying can be very serious, some kids have taken their own live so they will not be bullied again. The government should have control over that.

    2. Do you think that this website is an effective avenue to teach anti-bullying measures?

Yes, it will help children know if they are being bullied or what to do if they are being bullied and how to stop it.

    3. If you were a teacher or parent, how would you use this website to reduce bullying?

Yes i most definitely would show this to my children, so they know that bullying is wrong and how to take care of it. No one deserves to be bullied.

  5. No, I don't think that the U.S. government should have control over "bullying". They oversee education, sanitation, and foods that go on in the schools but bullying is more of an inside type of deal that the school staff should deal with.

Once again, no. This website, depending on the age, could make a kid feel rediculous and childish for following these guidelines by cartoon animals.

As a teacher or parent this website would be useful. I would probably translate the message into different ways to try to show the kids the right path. In other words I don't think I would sit them down and tell them to look up this website.

  6. 1.) I don't think the government should have a website for bullying. I think it is more a school situation and the government should be worrying about other severe situations. I do think the schools should have their own websites and handouts about bullying but the gevernment should worry about other things.
2.) I do, however, think that this website would somewhat be effective for younger children to learn and to grow up learning that bullying is bad but again, the government shouldn't worry about it, the schools should.
3.) If i were a teacher or parent i would show them the website and halp them learn about bullying but i would do so at a young age for them.

  7. 1.)I do believe that the government should have a thing for bullying. It has been very crusial in our society and the government sould really do something about it. So yes!
2.)Alot of kids do not go online to look up bullying or how to prevent it from happening. Yes a website would be helpfull, but then again it may not be for everyone since our economy doesnt have enought money for the internet or others that donthave a computer yet (like myself). It would be helpful if every kid looked into it, but not all do.
3.)If i was a teacher,i would show it to all of my classes, or even do a speach about it with the whole grade or even all the grades..There is always ways for teachers and parents to help reduce bullying. Parents could help my not allowing their children to go onto certain websites online.

  8. 1.) No, I think that they should not be allowed to get involved with this. The school can do a good enough job if prompted to take care of this problem.
2.) Yes, it does seem to teach kids good coping skills. If only kids know about this sight
3.) If I was a teacher I would make if a assigment for kids to soak up information from this sight. From what I see this sight should work.

  9. Yes, I do think it is sevre in some places that govenment should step in and help.
Yes, I do think it helps. It shows kids that it is bad in cartoon form.
I would have my students do a report on the website and do a presentation.

  10. 1.Yes, I do think bullying is severe enough to use government’s resources to its elimination. This is because being bullied in your younger years can cause serious harm later in life and in some cases even cause life long hardships.
2.It depends on how widely the web site address is spread and how many kids now about it. But when you first get kids to look at the website I think this will be an effective way to stop bullying. Because it gives important information in a form kids like to read (internet page).
3.Yes, I would absolutely show my kids / students this website and let them explore the page by them self with playing games, watching the movies and learn about the subject in a fun way, but still make them understand how important this topic is.

  11. 1. Yes, I think that bullying is a big enough problem to spend government money on because government already spends money on the school system and if they are willing to buy new desks for a school then they should be willing to stop the abuse of these bullied kids. If these kids had some help then they may have a better chance of being successful throughout school and later on in their lives.

2.I think that this website would be an efficient anti-bullying tool for younger kids, but older children are probably less likely to take the website seriously. If this website is shown to kids early on then maybe there would be no need to use it as they get older.

3.If I were a teacher or parent I would ask my young kids if they would like to watch some of the webisodes with me, and if they do I could be there to help them with any questions they had. I wouldn't try to force the idea of anti-bullying on them because that would be a really obnoxious parent move and would probably have an opposite affect.

  12. 1. Yes, I do think the bullying problem is serious enough to dedicate government resources to its elimination. Most states have anti-bullying laws, which are necessary to deter would-be bullies, or help victims. The government is in charge of public school systems, and part of that job is making sure that kids have a safe, comfortable place to learn.

    2. This website does have a lot of useful information; however, I don’t think anyone would come across it without prompting from teachers or adults. I don’t think kids have any idea that this site exists, and bullying victims probably don’t Google ways to avoid losing their lunch money, or expect to find the answer to their problems on a website. The site also seems geared towards younger children. The language/graphics would not appeal to teens and they would disregard it. Anti-bullying methods should be talked about in the classroom, not just on a website, because that way everyone is exposed to them.

    3. If I was a teacher or parent, I would probably have my kids watch some of the webisodes and discuss them. For older kids, I would talk about the consequences of bullying and maybe use the site to find bullying examples in the news. I might also use the sites tip sheets: Warning Signs That a Child is Being Bullied and Children who Bully, to detect any bullying in my child/classroom and address it appropriately.

  13. 1. Yes i think that bulliing is a very important issue that the government needs to reconize. Bulling happens everywhere everyday and it would be benifitial to have the governement dedicated to anti-bullying.

    2. I think the website does a fine job with teaching kids about anti-bullying techniques.

    3. If i were a parent i would talk to my kids about bullys and inform them about how to stay away from bullys and how to deal with them.

  15. 1. Yes, i think that bullying is a severe enough problem in some areas and that government resources should be used to help eliminnate the problem.

2.I think that this website would be an effective avenue to teach anti-bullying measures to younger kids.

    3. If i were a teacher or a parent i would talk to my kids/students about bullying and issues discussed on the website and have my younger students explore it and play some of the games and such. i do not think that it would be effective for older students though.
    3. If you were a teacher or parent, how would you use this website to reduce bullying?

  16. 1. Yes, I think bullying is a severe enough problem for the government to step in and use their resources to try to stop it. Tax payer's money goes towards making the public school system a better place to learn, therefore, the money should also go towards protecting the students.

    2. I think this website is an effective avenue to teach anti-bullying measures to childrens because it is very informative and the information is presented in a very fun, kid-friendly way.

    3. If I were a teacher or parent, I would use this website as a tool when talking to my student/child. I would use the information the website provides, and then have them play around with the games on the site because they seem to be a fun and affective way to learn.

2.This website is effective because it helps to show kids and parents anti-bullying measures.
    3. If i were a teacher/ parent I would show this website to my child/ student and then talk to them about it.

  18. 1) Yes and no, I think it is important to teach children how to solve problems without violence and how to interact socially but when it gets to a certain age it stops being about bullying and becomes about fixing social and emotional problems the child has.

    2) I think the website is cheesy and repetitive and children will lose interest in the subject.

    3) If I were a parent I would talk to my children and spend time teaching them how to treat others and deal with other children rather than sitting them down in front of a computer screen and trusting the internet to teach my child.
